摩根大通中国区首席执行官梁治文表示：“在庆祝植根中国100周年之际，摩根大通将继续加强对各项业务的投入，进一步强化我们在这一关键市场中的业务实力，以更好地长期服务于客户日益复杂的跨境业务的需求。”
摩根大通商业银行已任命谭敏莲为该新业务工商企业银行部（Corporate Client Banking）中国区总经理。谭敏莲拥有超过20年国际银行工作经验，在过去十年中担任法国巴黎银行中国区企业银行董事总经理。作为摩根大通商业银行工商企业银行部中国区主管，她将组建一支专业团队来推进新业务的在华布局，满足客户对财资管理、信贷和投资银行服务的需求。
摩根大通工商企业银行和专门行业部 （Corporate Client Banking & Specialized Industries， CCBSI）亚太区主管Pravin Advani表示：“中国市场蕴藏着巨大的机会。我们将继续投资于顶尖人才并充分调动全球资源来帮助本地中型企业实现他们的全球化愿景。”
摩根大通于2019年初宣布启动CCBSI业务的国际化进程，中国是该业务拓展的最新篇章。在新增为总部位于中国的中型跨国企业提供业务支持的同时，摩根大通商业银行将继续为其它外资公司的中国子公司提供服务。
2021年恰逢摩根大通在华展业100周年，除了上述新业务外，摩根大通中国近期已取得多项业务进展。在去年3月，由摩根大通控股的摩根大通证券（中国）有限公司正式开业；去年4月，摩根资产管理与上海国际信托达成商业共识，拟收购双方合资企业上投摩根基金管理有限公司100%股权。去年6月，摩根大通宣布，已获得证监会核准，将公司在摩根大通期货有限公司中的持股比例由49%增至100%。至此，摩根大通成为首家全资控股中国期货公司的外资银行。
