上海 – 摩根大通今日宣布，中国证监会已对摩根大通证券（中国）有限公司（下称摩根大通证券（中国））控股股东——摩根大通国际金融有限公司受让5家内资股东所持股权，成为摩根大通证券（中国）唯一股东的事项准予备案。摩根大通证券（中国）将成为中国首家外资全资控股的证券公司。
摩根大通证券（中国）成立于2019年，总部设立在中国上海。公司于2020年3月正式展业，为中国以及国际客户提供全方位的金融产品与服务，包括证券经纪、证券投资咨询以及证券承销与保荐。
摩根大通是债券和股票领域首屈一指的承销商，在跨境并购领域也占据领先地位。摩根大通相信，在中国拥有全资证券业务将帮助公司加速并深化与客户的交流，帮助他们扩展和壮大业务。摩根大通的全球股票研究团队提供关于450多家中国上市企业的洞见，帮助全球投资者更加透彻地了解这些蓬勃发展的本地投资机会。除此之外，摩根大通还将通过旗下全球最大的市场业务，继续投资公司在国内的交易系统和平台，帮助客户更好地投资于中国的金融市场。

2020年6月18日，摩根大通宣布获得证监会批准，将其在摩根大通期货有限公司中的持股比例由49%增至100%。摩根大通成为首家全资控股中国期货公司的外资银行。
2020年4月3日，摩根资产管理宣布与上海浦东发展银行旗下控股公司上海国际信托有限公司初步达成一项商业共识，将拟收购取得合资企业上投摩根基金管理有限公司股权至100%。
